  My key responsibilities are to maintain LAN and WAN network of the Bank. In accordance to that I have to plan, design and implement upgrades on all levels in order to increase the efficiency and security of the bank. This includes optimization and higher usage of the existing resources, increasing and planning redundancy for all business critical services, which will result in better efficiency of all bank employees including the IT department. Budgeting and planning of fixed IT Department expenses on annual level together with proposals for new services. Also I am responsible for the process of opening new branch offices. I am responsible for all IT policies and procedures so I have to write revise and upgrade them periodically. All this has to be coordinated and updated with our Business Continuity planning so this is one of my tasks as well. I am currently responsible for network of 40+ branches with 40 Windows servers and 500 Personal computers, 900 users with 40+ locations connected in VPN with HQ, 100-150 network printers and 100+ network devices.Reporting to the seniors and coordination between staff and management is a part of my daily activities. The vendors we are currently working with are Agfa, Toshiba, Schiller and Erba. The main equipment that we support is AGFA X-ray devices and digitizers, Toshiba CT and MRI systems as well as Ultrasound devices, Schiller ECG and patient monitor devices together with defibrillators and Erba laboratory devices used for Hematology and Biochemistry.
