      In 2010, Peter was selected for a special 2-year assignment with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where he was responsible for managing a team of 15 military and civilian employees tasked in supporting a Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed classified mission. Over the course of his tenure, he oversaw the collection, processing, and production of Contingency Response Surveys for national-level facilities worldwide impacting national security, joint doctrine, and U.S. policies.He additionally, advised and mentored interagency partners during CWMD national levels exercises and provided instruction and training to DoD, FBI, and law enforcement personnel in the utilization of survey tools for strategic facilities. Peter, furthermore, collaborated with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to ensure all tactical considerations complied with regulatory rules and regulations in support of safeguarding our nation's nuclear power plants.       From 2017 to 2018, Peter served as a Director of Operations for the 10th SFG (A) where he oversaw all day-to-day functions for a U.S. military base in Afghanistan housing over 500+ military and contract employees, while concurrently, managing six U.S. Special Forces Alpha teams in-country. Over the course of his deployment, he enabled executive decision-making by briefing the CEO-equivalent on gathered intelligence and detailed situational analytics -- providing key advisement and recommendations that were integral towards defeating the Taliban across multiple fronts. He additionally, devised and analyzed strategic plans for both current and future operations; ensuring any identified gaps or deficiencies were corrected before issues could manifest into larger, strategic issues.After returning to the States, Peter directed a team of highly-specialized U.S. Special Forces Operators capable of conducting full-spectrum Special Operations around the globe while advising leadership on the training and resourcing of an additional seven U.S. Special Forces teams -- providing in-depth mentoring sessions to each team’s manager focused on leadership principles and best practices. He directly managed a team of 15 and served as the Lead Project Manager for two, forward-deployed U.S. Special Forces Companies supporting combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq -- demonstrating leadership throughout the mission lifecycle to achieve strategic objectives in coordination with partner and client organizations.
