  Civil Engineering Trainee

  Completed 6 months of industrial training at Tudawe brothers limited as a Civil Engineering Trainee. During the training period under the supervision of Project Managers, I worked on two projects which are the Ceylex Enclave Mixed Development Project in Kollupitiya and the Giriulla Stretch of the Central Expressway construction. Assisted in activities related to construction, quality assurance, 2D drawing preparation, stakeholder management and construction planning. 1. Supervised underground basement constructions (skin wall construction and waterproofing) in the Ceylex enclave project which is Sri Lanka's largest building basement excavation done by a local contractor. 2. Was involved in and supervised the construction of the structural elements of the superstructure of Ceylex enclave building which contained 25 stories. 3. Was supervised the steel structure construction of Nakalagamuwa troll gate after referring the detailed structural drawings. 4. Was involved in embankment construction, soil compaction and pavement construction of the Central Expressway. 5. Was involved in supervising plastering and wall finishing works. 6. Prepared bar schedules, 2D drawings, and concrete pouring charts for the ceylex enclave project. Show less
