  Official Media hotel during the 2008 Summer Olympics. The hotel was located at the heart of the Olympic Green, dedicated to the Chair Olympic Committee and the international media professionals.As the Official Media Hotel, it was an exciting experience to interact with different personalities originating from various cultures. It also allowed me to practice the several languages I have learnt over the years. The service line extremely fulfilling, especially when a customer shows appreciation with a simple smile or thanks.Interned at the Front Office and was involved in guest relations and in-room dining management.Being effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin placed me in an excellent position as a translator between guests and my fellow colleagues. Also assisted in teaching and fine-tuning the English of the Front Office staff.Involved in InterContinental Hotel Groups fund-raiser for the Sichuan Earthquake.
