      Developed and executed strategies for two product lines (Engine & Drive Train) sold into the Latin America market, with a major focus on the Mining territories. Achieved yearly revenue targets of $950M USD and market share of 60%. Spent 50% of time travelling to dealer and customer sites helping educate on the benefits and value of Caterpillar genuine parts. Led dealer training on product features and benefits to ensure that they are well equipped to deliver on sales. A major factor in sales achievements were due to my focus on the Cat Certified Rebuild Program. A program I was solely responsible for in the Latin America Region and achieved an increase in sales of over 300% my first year and another 180% increase my 2nd year. Furthermore, the factory visits I organized and led with our largest customers resulted in an increase in sales by over 30%. Show less Territory Sales Manager for Construction Equipment in the following countries: Colombia, Panama, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Guyana, Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, and Suriname - Achieved sales above my business plan 3 years in a row (135% / 110% / 165%). This was done through relationship building and value selling programs that included Extended Coverage for the machines sold, Customer Service Agreements, Work Tool promotions, Product Link (Technology) installments & interest rate reduction plans. Another activity used to help increase sales were machine demonstrations for customers. My proudest achievement in this job was that 40% of sales were going to new customers. This demonstrated that the marketing programs worked effectively to bring in customers that typically purchased from the competition. Three of my programs also focused on products never sold in my territory before. My focus paid off by opening up a new market for each of those products that had no direct competition. My focus on Work Tool sales also paid off by achieving 270% of my goal one year and 210% another year. This was done by a strategic marketing plan put in place in my largest territory, Colombia.
