  Diagnose and repair interruptions and degradations affecting customer Enterprise VoIP solutions, MPLS, VPLS, DIA, High Speed Transport services and other emerging technologies. Utilize network management tools and protocols to diagnose and repair highly complex framing, IP routing, packet sequencing and other layer 2, 3 and 4 issues. Configure and diagnose trouble relating to dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Configure and troubleshoot issues with premise-based security devices (Cisco ASA/PIX firewall.) including IPsec and remote access VPN. Perform facilities testing and fault isolation working cooperatively with the customer, LEC and XO technicians. Diagnose and repair Quality of Service (QoS) issues. Assists with administration, configuration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, and other telecommunication equipment Collaborate with Technology to add and enhance services (QoS, policy-based routing, traffic shaping, WAN acceleration, etc). Maintain a working lab with all supported CPE platforms for testing and design development.
