This required multi-disciplined knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering as well as military requirements and standards.• Worked cooperatively with the prime contractor to define and develop the system interfaces and capabilities necessary to meet the program requirements for SH21.• Developed window applications to simulate aircraft equipment and testing of electronics for various programs within our group.• Designed and developed the LRU chassis, electronics, and software for the Helmet Operator Panel (HOP) to support the Little High-end Airborne Laptop (HAL). Little HAL provides pilots with moving map video, approach plates, airport diagrams, flight references, and emergency procedures in electronic form.• Researched and defined the COTS equipment and interfaces for the Little HAL Remote Electronic Chassis (REC).• Cooperatively defined and developed the aircraft and system interfaces required for Little HAL.• Worked cooperatively to write the Little HAL T2 mod package to install the system on an A10.• Designed and developed the electronics and software for the B1 Laptop Tray Electronics Box (LTEB) and Cockpit Control Panel (CCP).
