  The “Development of Clusters in the Creative and Cultural Industries” - known as Creative Mediterranean Regional project aimed at fostering entrepreneurial co-operation in the cultural and creative industries in the Southern Mediterranean region notably through the promotion of promising pilot cluster initiatives demonstrating contribution to inclusive growth in the Southern Mediterranean Region. The project supported in demonstrating the potential of national and regional cultural and creative industries in the Southern Mediterranean; opening the possibility through adequate replication and larger scale support from financial institutions to promote new employment opportunities and inclusive growth in the region.Throughout the project, I succeeded to achieve the following:Cluster Development Activities- establish governance structures for the Egyptian Clusters and managed to lead new common projects for cluster members.Product Development Activities- helped in the diagnostic of product development processes, led the organization of design workshops through different international design experts for the creation of new collections combining design and traditional heritage.Access to Markets Activities- managed and led the development of marketing and branding strategies for the new collections developed by different designers, MSMEs and entrepreneurs in the design field and supported their participation in local and international trade fairs, as well as the development of B2B linkages with local and international buyers.Capacity Building for Support Institutions Activities- established creative and design hubs/platforms that offer services and spaces to the creative sector actors from designers to craftsmen and factories, in order to diffuse design knowledge and culture and improve creativity in the partner countries in collaboration with partner institutions. عرض أقل
