I communicated and coordinated with the Construction Manager for issues relating to safety and health, including incorporating the results of risk assessments into method statements. I arranged for Safety Patrols over the Site in weekly intervals and collected information and evidence for improvement or revisions required in the Safety Plan, Construction Railway Operations, or relevant safety documentation, and reported to the Project Director for action. I also chaired or attended safety audits, meetings, or patrols as specified. I managed over 200 guards' security plans for the Dubai Metro Red & Green Line Testing and Commissioning and Operations areas, and coordinated with the Road & Transport Authority of Dubai and the Dubai Metro operator SERCO for safety matters and planning protection in the Construction/ T&C & maintenance period. Thanks to our efforts, the rail system accumulated 6.5 million hours worked without a lost time injury record upon completing the project. I established procedures for construction railway operations, formulated and executed training for works train controllers, works train crews, and all levels of work access and visiting at CRO areas. Additionally, I designed and implemented an online system for the permit to work, which streamlined the process and improved efficiency. Chaired weekly CRO meetings to grant possession plans and control permit to work systems for all engineering vehicles and work activities on each metro line. I also coordinated with clients and third parties on all matters related to CRO areas, controlled budgets, and ensured that all staff under the CRO adhered to company safety policies at all times and delivered the project targets on time. Once the CRO stage was completed and transferred to the Construction Commissioning Railway Management stage, I served as the Manager of Access Planning Office for all metro lines.
