A wide range of actively-researched sectors of particle physics and phenomenology were studied such as quantum chromodynamics (QCD), Higgs phenomenology, supersymmetry and string theory. I undertook a thesis topic that discusses and investigates leptogenesis as a solution to the matter-antimatter asymmetry observed in the Universe. The investigation included numerically solving Boltzmann equations governing the number density evolutions of right-handed neutrinos and baryon asymmetry as well as a specific research investigation into these equations solutions and evolutions in a modified early Universe cosmological scenario.
