Current projects including deep investigation and documentation of the current infrastructure to create a more complete picture of the consequences and advantages of any business support decisions that drive the enterprise applications space.While working for the Principal Technologist and Chief Technology Officer I led multiple projects spanning the enterprise. I was responsible for supporting the Chief Technology Officer in aspects of IT strategy at Georgetown. I led advancements in Georgetown's presence in distance education, password management, Rank and Tenure management, and cutting edge software projects across the enterprise.My primary ongoing project is the Common Identity and Trust Infrastructure (CommIT), which is a joint PESC, InCommon, and Internet2 project designed to provide single sign-on and a unique identifier to students who are working on admissions to higher education. This work allows me to work with the thought leaders and action heros in the identity management space. CommIT grew out of my comments leading a working group, and led to intense collaborative efforts to discover a project sponsor and launch a successful project.. Show less My primary responsibility was the management of the Thebes Grid Middleware Consortium, funded by Sun Microsystems.
