      Director

As Director I am responsible for the overall practical and creative interpretation of the dramatic script or musical score. I have to take into account the budgetary and physical constraints of of the production as well. I am involved with all stages of the process, from the design and pre-production stages and rehearsal, right through to the final performance. Another major part of my responsibilities includes that of Educational Director. I work in partnership with classroom teachers, school administrators, and district-level fine arts coordinators to enhance the arts education experience of all students in the greater Columbia area.I also partner with community–based organizations serving adults and families to promote positive youth development and continuing education programs.I develop and implement the curriculum goals and assessment measures for all studios, workshops, residencies and professional development for teaching artists and educators.
