Helping athletes, both newer and veteran, develop into their events through approach, confidence and overall satisfaction with their outcome in practice and track meets is the main goal and fixture of my title as an assistant track and field coach. Apart from practicing in my specialized coaching events, I lead the entire track and field team in daily stretching and core exercises to help prepare their bodies for upcoming meets and strenuous practice routines. I made it to all of the varsity games except for one (allergic reaction). I was allowed field access as a coach and was able to see my boys (including my brother as a Junior secondary Linebacker) play in the dome for the final year it was up and go out on a positive note. It was the end of the Metro Dome era and a new beginning outside at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium. We won State and set history as the only Division 1 team to do so in the state of Minnesota. One year later at TCF Bank Stadium, my senior brother and the EP Eagles would pull off a fourth consecutive state victory and rank among the best teams in the nation at No. 17. A great memory at the dome. I will never forget. Show less

The great thing to realize is I never would of received this award if it weren't for the awesome teamwork and great competitive attitude my team had. Again, a wonderful memory. I am very grateful.

I ended up making it to Sections my Senior year and ran the 300 Meter Hurdles, finishing in the top half for my section. Another great experience to add to the memory book.

      2012 State High School Football Champion Minnesota State High School Football League Nov 2012 My Senior year of High School Football, this year was even more special because we won back-to-back and had many memories that would ultimately place us among one of the best Eden Prairie teams the school has ever produced. The legacy we left behind would carry us next year to another State Championship, winning 3 years in a row, a feat no 6A (Division 1) High School Football team has ever accomplished in the State of Minnesota.

      State Anacrusis Honor Choir Participant State of Minnesota Nov 2008 One of my first amazing experiences, I had the privilege to sing in the newly renovated chapel at St. Olaf's College in Northfield, Minnesota. My choir director, Bob Chilcott, flew all the way in from Oxford, England to perform with us and to share his knowledge on what it meant to become a great singer and to sing in a choir the size of our. There were over 700 tape applications to be in the choir and only 100 applicants were selected. Again, what a wonderful experience.
