We won State and set history as the only Division 1 team to do so in the state of Minnesota. One year later at TCF Bank Stadium, my senior brother and the EP Eagles would pull off a fourth consecutive state victory and rank among the best teams in the nation at No. 17. I ended up making it to Sections my Senior year and ran the 300 Meter Hurdles, finishing in the top half for my section. Another great experience to add to the memory book.

The legacy we left behind would carry us next year to another State Championship, winning 3 years in a row, a feat no 6A (Division 1) High School Football team has ever accomplished in the State of Minnesota.

My choir director, Bob Chilcott, flew all the way in from Oxford, England to perform with us and to share his knowledge on what it meant to become a great singer and to sing in a choir the size of our. There were over 700 tape applications to be in the choir and only 100 applicants were selected. Again, what a wonderful experience.
