  I am grateful to have been able to work with the most wonderful people in an extremely collaborative and inviting work environment continuously open to creative ideas and suggestions. I have always had pleasant encounters with the members of the SAM Integration's R&D Team, as they have always shown to be considerate and approachable. During the course of my Internship at SAM Integrations Pvt. Ltd. I was accountable for developing a Customized Non Return Valve for a Thermosiphon Coolant Heater, under the supervision of Mr. M.V. Biradar. I am convinced that I would not have progressed and learned as much as I have in the last 5 weeks.   Design Intern

  During my internship I performed a detailed study regarding the Designing of Test Rig for Spherical Roller Bearing at SKF INDIA PVT. LTD. I was assigned to Design a Test Rig for the 22228 Spherical Roller Bearing being manufactured at the Ahmedabad Plant having a load ratio of 3 and a minimum L10 Life Rating of 10,000 hrs.Responsibilities:  Conducted extensive research on spherical roller bearings, their applications, and the testing methods commonly used in the industry. Followed the Official SKF Roller Bearings Catalogue for a step-by-step approach for the bearing selection process to select the support bearing.  Evaluated the radial and axial loads that the bearing will experience in its intended application.  Calculated the expected life of the bearing under specific conditions using industry-standard equations. Ascertained the permissible speeds for the bearing in the test conditions, taking into consideration factors like lubrication, cage design, and heat generation.  Used various SKF Tools such as “SKF Bearing Select”, “SKF Housing Select” and “SKF LubeSelect for SKF Greases” for bearing selection and design of test rig.
