  As a deputy manager of a ninety place nursery my role was to work alongside management to keep on top of the day to day running of the organisation. My priority was to ensure that the children's individual needs were being met and the highest standard of care was being given at all times.Some of my key activities included:Ensuring the practice and provision in the nursery met the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Ensuring the children received rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and levelSupported the development of the nursery in regards to special needs and inclusion Created and maintained a culture of self evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nurseryEnsuring that all requirements for OFSTED and other legislative bodies were being adhered to.   My role involves:• Organising medical educational events for health care professionals with an interest in heart rhythm disorders; including fifteen UK one day educational meetings, an annual four day congress and Parliamentary Receptions. I have just recently organised Arrhythmia Alliances' 10th Anniversary Reception at The House of Commons which was attended by 100 attendees including several MP's and Lords. • Liaising with outside agencies regarding external events for advertisement, materials, stand space, and presenters. In the past three years, I have attended; Cardiostim 2012 in Nice, European Society of Cardiology Congress (ESC) 2013 in Amsterdam, and The 4th LAAO Summit 2014 in Vienna as well as many UK based events too. • Driving marketing activity and promotion for each event, including website and social media updates and e-bulletins.• Securing suitable event venues and associated resources (accommodation, catering and technical requirements etc).• Representing the Charity at events and promoting the directive of the Charity; sometimes giving presentations.• Organising agendas and liaising with faculty.• Maintaining accurate and up to date records on delegate registrations, payments and invoices including database and spread sheet recording.• Sourcing opportunities for funding.• Using tools and metrics to review and evaluate the events.
