  SDSU Rocket Project

  Advise the team on fluid and ground systems in the development of Methane/Oxygen and Ethonal/Oxygen rockets. I also assisted in training and further introducing the team to Confluence and Jira Assisting in the development of a canard based active stabilization system for a two-stage liquid-solid rocket in the hopes of breaking the Karmen line. I am also assisting in the design and construction of the ground support equipment and onboard fluid systems for this same rocket. I work with the fluids and structures teams to fabricate the plumbing for our Methalox rocket and the ground pressurization system. I have designed and manufactured various versions of our ventilation valves to vent the boiloff of the cryogenic fuel and oxidizer, as well as redesign and build the helium pressurization after the previous version failed. I have also built the launch pad that we will launch the rocket from. Worked on developing the CNC code to machine our tanks and tank domes as well as worked on the initial construction of the fluid systems of the rocket

  I perform all daily monitoring and command functions for Viasat's satellite fleet while simultaneously assisting in the development of tools and procedures used by the team to perform these tasks. Through this role, I head a working group for a contracted program that determines and develops the necessary processes to monitor and maintain a global ground network. I also guide and mentor junior-level controllers through all live satellite operations, training, and development activities.Through this role, I have been able to prepare, and monitor flight maneuvers for SSL/Maxar FS-1300s of various models and Boeing 702MP+. For these spacecraft I have been able to perform operations including gyro calibrations, spacecraft memory management, and battery management and operations.At the SCC, I have developed multiple tools including a weather monitoring website that covers all of our ground stations and the local Earth space weather environment. I have also created automations to ingest conjunctions and ephemerides, process the data, send it to the proper locations including partner entities, and organize the data into viewable webpages and emails for easy analysis and monitoring.
