      During my first year, I gained experience as an assistant manager at a security and workwear reseller/manufacturer. My roles included payment processing, managing staff and client relations, and supervising the renovations of a commercial property.I worked closely with the business's general and strategic managers, who taught me how to mediate internal and external business conflicts and organize groups of employees. The position required me to adapt on the job and solve problems in a high-stakes environment, greatly improving my ability to assess and respond effectively. Show less

      Software Development : Vacation Work

      I learnt the essentials of developing my own website and app at an independent software development company. I had significant practical exposure to html, CSS, JavaScript and React. Additionally, I covered necessary basics of PHP and React Native. The website I developed was a personal project, meant to be a promotional site for local businesses, with the app being an extension of it. The experience exposed me to a variety of new programming languages and programming in an industry context.I greatly improved my coding mind because of it.Currently, I am supplementing my software development learning with Linkdeln courses, and I was also invited to work on an ongoing project for this same company, as part of a team.
