  Manage complex performance audits for the Department of the Treasury programs and operations. Specially, lead the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act of 2014 (DATA Act) oversight audits for the Department’s efforts to report spending data under the act as well as Treasury's Program Management Office's Government-wide DATA Act implementation efforts.Chair the Council of Inspector General for Integrity and Efficiency Federal Audit Executive Council’s DATA Act Working Group. Assist the Inspector General (IG) community in understanding and meeting its DATA act oversight requirements by (1) working with the group to serve as a working level liaison with Treasury, (2) consulting with the Government Accountability Office, (3) developing a common review approach and methodology, and (4) coordinating key communication with other stakeholders. Developed Government-wide guidance to promote a consistent audit methodology for the DATA Act mandated oversight audits as well as readiness review audits performed by the Inspector General (IG) Community. Developed, planned, and facilitated the DATA Act Readiness and Required Review Workshops for the Inspector General Community to ensure that the IG community is well positioned to execute its responsibilities under the Act.Developed, planned and facilitated Continuing Professional Education technical sessions for organizations such as Council of Inspector Generals for Integrity and Efficiency, the Chief Financial Officer’s Council, the DATA Act Interagency Committee, the Association of Government Accountants, Joint Financial Management Improvement Program, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Government Accounting, and Auditing Conference. and the Data Coalition to promote awareness of the IG community’s role in DATA Act oversight and emphasize the importance of an agency’s internal controls to effective DATA Act reporting.Serve as the Subjective Matter Expert on the DATA Act oversight process.
