      Scheduling of arena ice, schedule staff for maintenance of municipal buildings, parks and green space maintenance. Set out priorities for budgets, come up with policy and procedures relevant to my areas. Oversee maintenance and capital budgets as well as projects in my areas. Building relationships with various users and the general public. I operate a small municipal stores out of the arena for our staff and contract custodians, keeping track of the inventory. Set up and schedule, promote special events at the arena and elsewhere in the community. I planned and purchased fruit tress to start a municipal orchard where members of our community are invited to come pick fruit as one way to give back to the community.       Corporate Sponsorship for Free Public Skating/Drop in Hockey - 2007 I have been very successful in locating corporate sponsorship to make it absolutely free to skate in Vanderhoof or to take part in the Drop in Hockey Program. Our sponsors pay for everything from providing skates of all sizes, to skate aids for people and children learning to skate or needing a little extra support.Our program is a huge success with our customers that surrounding municipalities tour our facility to see how we do this.       External Funding - I have been able to secure external funding for the Vanderhoof Arena in the tune of $15,000+ per year for the past several years. By doing this I am able to keep ice user rates increases to a all time low of between .9 and 1.3%, thus continuing to make ice related sports affordable to the citizens of Vanderhoof and surrounding area.

      Olympic Long Track Speed Skater - Was able to work with Kathy Gordon of Mission as she trained and represented Canada during the 1988 Olympics on the long track speed skate team.

      Short Track Speed Skating Oylimpics - Worked with Eden Donatalli for many years in the role of ice technician while she was perfecting the sport of Short Track Speed Skating. She became a member of Canadian Short Track Speed Skate Team for the 1985 Olympics.
