  Gain and maintain situational awareness of all Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) events, incidents, and changes to facilitate appropriate response to support, operate, and defend the MCEN. Coordinate and act as a primary liaison to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for all global MCEN wide-area-network changes and outages. Coordinate and provide routine maintenance on all enterprise network infrastructure equipment utilizing MCCOG change management processes in support of emerging technologies and security vulnerabilities. Manage and maintain the point-of-presence (PoP) enterprise architecture for the MCEN to include but not limited to firewalls, routers, switches, and encryption devices. • Managed the BMC Remedy ticketing system that assists over 150,000 users on the MCEN. • Configured and administered Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Catalyst, ASR, Nexus routers and switches, Juniper VPNs spread across 100+ sites. • Resolved and diagnosed tickets and service requests associated with Red Hat Linux Jump server and Cisco ISE TACACS server. • Performed troubleshooting efforts on end-to-end devices for both router and switches to include circuit interface testing with third party Internet service providers. • Install, operate, maintain, and monitor Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) to enable command and control. • Train IT personnel in advanced routing/switching, locating and correcting faults, Quality of Service (QOS), implementation and management of the cable plan, long haul transport, Internet Protocol (IP) Management, encryption management, network monitoring, end-to-end systems integration, and troubleshooting. • Coordinated local implementation and troubleshooting of 802.1x network access control pilot program on Cisco switches. • Familiar with security, programming and planning tools, maintenance procedures, budgeting, and administration processes. That led to uninterruptable communications for the staff of the SPMAGTF CR-AF during all operations in the region. • Managed 61 Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and 92 Voice of Internet Secure Protocol (VOSIP) phones on Cisco Unified Call Manger in aid of SPMAGTF. • Prepared 2 spoke communication packages to extend the deployed network to other continents, providing up to 40 users reach back capabilities for full services. • Supervised the accountability of $2,277,586 worth of cyber communications equipment. Mentor, train, lead, and develop the Marines of the Cyber section in Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and professional military standards. • Established over 200 Defense Switch Network (DSN) and 190 Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) telecommunication capabilities for 7 command post exercises. • Trained, supervised, and employed 10 Cyber Operators in occupational specialty related tasks that directly resulted in meeting 32 Training and Readiness (T&R) standards while executing 7 command post exercises. This includes 4 teams consisting of Servers, Networking, Telephony and Helpdesk. • Constructed, operated, and maintained wire networks to link key outposts, control points and headquarters. • Installed and maintained wire/cable/telephones/switches/media converters, adjusting equipment for proper operations, recovered wire/cable, and operated call service positions.
