      The EMT Instructor was a position located at Magna Vista and Bassett High Schools in Henry County, VA. I taught in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. I was responsible for preparing, delivering didactic, and laboratory education that paralleled the NHTSA, Virginia Office of EMS, and National Standards curriculum. Participated in curriculum review and design. Implemented a variety of effective instructional strategies consistent with lesson objectives. Diagnosed and evaluated student abilities and progress in a timely and consistent manner. Monitored student progress and adjusted instruction accordingly. Planned a program of study that met the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students. Created a classroom environment that was conducive to learning. Assessed the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provided progress reports as required. Show less
