During the first three (3) years in the University, students take up courses in relation to the Humanities. During the first three (3) years in the University, students take up courses in relation to the Humanities. During the third year, the students start taking up courses in relation to their specialization. For my case, my specialization was in Management. All courses in relation to the Humanities should be finished by the end of the third year. By the time a student enters his/her fourth year, all courses that will be taken are all related to the chosen specialization. During my fourth year, I garnered awards such as the 2ND Best Marketing Plan for a group project done during the first semester, and the Dean’s List for the second semester. Show less

      To get into the fifth year or Masters, a student must have a general weighted average between 1.00 and 2.00 by the end of the fourth year (with 1.00 being the highest). During the masteral year, students are tasked to do a thesis on a topic that they find interesting, and that is related to their specialization. For my case, I did a thesis on the “Impact of Service Quality to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty of (selected) Automotive (Brands and) Dealerships”. The topic was approved in December 2016 and was successfully defended in June 2017. Aside from doing the thesis, students also undergo a project-based internship for the duration of the second half of the masteral year (January - July). For my case, I did my internship with UCPBGEN.       - Assigned as one of the Assistant Business Managers (Assistant Branch Managers) to a designated branch within the Taguig Area (All branches located inside Taguig City). Is currently handling 38TH Street BGC. Has previously handled Fort McKinley Hill Venice (closed) and PSE-The Fort.- Responsible for handling and monitoring the daily activities of a branch such as vault operations and client transactions such as but not limited to deposits and withdrawals, remittances, foreign exchange, and opening of corporate/SME, personal, and payroll accounts. Also monitors and handles reports related to branch operations.- Acts as one of the designated approvers for the aforementioned activities, and approves each activity for as long as it is within the policies of the Bank.- Assists the Business Manager (Branch Manager/Service Manager) in cross-selling the various banking products.- Also functions as a reliever to other branches within the area I'm assigned to should a branch either lack an approving officer or is in need of additional manpower. Has relieved at Bonifacio Global City, Fort Serendra, FTI Taguig, Global City Net Quad, Infinity, Market! Market!, One Global Place, and W-5TH Avenue.- Took up certification programs in order to use specific systems within the bank, and to be able to cross sell certain products as mandated by the BSP.- Trains officers and staff by letting them observe the various activities and by allowing them to have hands on experience. I was admitted as an External Hire and is part of Batch 192. I also became the Deputy Batch Representative.- Attended classroom lectures that focused on various topics about the bank and the industry.- Attended a two day leadership seminar entitled “Your Leadership Journey & Planning & Managing Resources” hosted by DDI Philippines, Inc.- Was assigned to Corporate Credit and underwent training with the Asian/BPO/FI/MNC/PEZA team. I was tasked to create a Credit Offering for three accounts under the supervision of its assigned account officer, and I presented one of the accounts together with its account officer to its appropriate committee.- Was assigned to observe one of the branches under the Makati Central Area (Branches situated along Ayala Avenue excluding Insular Life, also includes Dela Rosa-Solaris, and those within the Glorietta Malls), particularly Ayala Triangle, and to act as a Senior Service Associate in one of the branches under the Makati South Area (Forbes Park, those within the Greenbelt Malls, Branches situated inside Legaspi Village excluding Legaspi Columns, Medical Plaza and those along Dela Rosa St., selected branches along Pasong Tamo and branches surrounding San Lorenzo Village), particularly Pasong Tamo-La Fuerza.- Created a learning tool about the bank's products and services for incoming officers of the bank.
