      Carrier Representative

I started my career in logistics at American Backhaulers. Starting out in the Dispatch Dept I was promoted to Carrier Rep Assistant after only 4 months. Having worked to maintain and increase the book of business for one of their top reps, I was given the opportunity to go out on my own. After my first year on the floor as a full time rep, I became one of the top 30 reps and maintain my place as one of the best until I resigned in 2002.

As Vice President of Truckload Solutions, my team will focus on driving our truckload revenue growth across the entire organization for customers of all sizes but with particular focus on our larger national accounts as well as contractual and RFP based opportunities. Further, we will be a key driver of our truckload go to market strategy and helping to define our service offerings. As the Director of TL Operations, I oversee the RFP Solutions, Contractual Capacity and Premier Account Services departments under the direction of the VP of TL Operations. I have been tasked with making sure Echo provides our customers with the most competetive industry market pricing, dedicated capacity for our awarded business and the most elite operations group to manage the freight. I am also tasked with setting our internal cost and sell markets for our transactional business. Using my experience from managing the RFP department I will be in charge of identifying all opportunities to dedicate capacity for Echo's awardable freight. I will also work with all Account Managers to identify opportunities to manage current workflow and increase our marketshare by driving down Echo COGS. The Truckload Pricing Group will be part of the Business Solutions Department and will work closely with the carrier desk and strategic sourcing. The goal is to provide an additional tool for Echo to continue its growth within the truckload marketplace. Hired to help develop the Carrier Desk at Echo, I quickly demonstrated my ability to procure equipment for our top customers. Averaging over 450 booked loads per month I was able to set the standard for Carrier sales productivity.
