  I have held a variety of positions during my 18 year career at RBMN. During college I worked part time in the finance office during the week doing A/P, A/R and purchasing. On weekends and summers I worked as a track laborer in the MOW Department. After college and working full time I was promoted to Assistant Director of Finance where I mainly worked on purchasing and negotiations with vendors and reported to the CFO and the owner CEO. I was then promoted to Vice President of Maintenance of Way and was responsible for management, hiring/firing, planning and oversight of the track department, which consisted of 30 track employees, large track material inventory and numerous pieces of track equipment. During this time I also began working with the Bureau of Rail Freight and their RFAP and RTAP grant programs. After six years, I took on a new position as VP Real Estate & Community Affairs where I focused on government affairs and management of our real estate holdings but still played a role in managing the track department. During this time I was a board member of the Keystone State Railroad Association. Three years later, I resumed my role as VP Maintenance of Way and retained my responsibilities working with PennDOT, both Harrisburg and the local districts. During my career I have applied for and managed almost $20 million in federal and state grant money between RBMN and our customers from start to finish. Show less
