      This was an additional part-time role where I worked at the stables every free moment I had to take care of my own horses as well as horses of others. The work was varied and complimented my role working at the Equestrian shop:- Feeding horses, cleaning stables and all other stable work (basic tractor driving skills).- Developing riders’ and owners knowledge on latest products and consulting on tack and feed problems.- Teaching children and adults to ride and how to take care of horses safely in group or one-on-one.- Working with horses to determine their temperament, ability and attitude for training.- Riding horses for owners while on holiday or working with their problems.- Checking the horses for any health problems or other discomfort.- Rehabilitated several horses through various injuries.- Weekly lessons in dressage show jumping and occasional western- Planned and managed events such as jumping competitions, children summer camps, game days and lessons.- Leading groups on trail rides.
