      Company OverviewSLT-Mobitel is Sri Lanka’s National Mobile Service Provider and a fully-owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom. It was the pioneer in South Asia to launch the first Super-3.5G HSPA network in 2007, and subsequently trialed HSPA+, MIMO. Mobitel went on to demonstrate 4G-LTE technology also for the first time in South Asia in 2011. The company currently operates with VoLTE technology and provides user with 5G Network experience (NSA).Main Duties & Responsibilities :• Coordinate & conduct Network Benchmark activities with respect to defined services to ensure the improvement of Mobile customer experience.• Analyze Network Benchmark and Field Test activities and generate comprehensive reports to verify the Network Performance Status.• Walk testing & Drive testing with Nemo & TEMS for 2G/3G/4G/5G Networks, Post processing with Nemo Analyze/TEMS Discovery and prepare comprehensive technical reports.• Supervise and perform MOS (Mean Opinion Score) tests to identify voice quality degradations and throughput related data tests to identify data network issues.• User Experience Upliftment by analyzing and optimizing Radio Network 2G/3G/4G & 5G KPI/KQIs.• Analyzing Network data pro long basis and provide various insights to the Engineering Team, Sales Team and Marketing Team to highlight the quality related aspects of entire Network.• Prepare reports for management by highlighting engineering and non-engineering quality aspects of entire Network.• Support sales team/other department teams by providing technical solutions to achieve business goals along with providing solutions for network expansion, new products, and technologies.• Perform PIM testing for Passive DAS using Anritsu PIM testers.• Rectification of PIM issues during DAS commissioning stage.• Actively involved in developing RFP relevant to 5G & 4G Radio network optimization. Show less Main Duties & Responsibilities• Performing IBC walk tests (pre/post) with Nemo Outdoor (Scanner + Handsets) and process data with Nemo Analyze to prepare comprehensive reports.• Conduct benchmark drive tests (Nemo Invex) and generate reports to identify any network performance issues compared to other operators. • Identify network performance audit findings to maintain the network with industry standards and for the improvement of customer experience.• Attend VIP customers to resolve their complaints on request basis & monitor network KPI of special events.• Handling customer feedback surveys.• Monitor and Identify the service impacting alarms from base stations and inform responsible departments to implement best practices for preventive maintenance of BTS sites to maximize the network availability and to maintain the network assets at the optimal level.• Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi Networks, which are affecting the customer experience.• Analyze data to identify faults, troubleshoot and provide corrective solutions. Show less Main Duties & Responsibilities• Monitoring the network for alarms or certain conditions requiring special attention to avoid impact on the network's performance.• Responsible for monitoring for site Power failures, Site failures, Cell Failures, TRX failures, BER, FER, and circuits down alarms.• Ensuring perfect network performance by Analyze problems and Perform troubleshooting.• Communicate with site Engineers and other NOCs outside the organization.• Monitors systems for required capacity planning and performance adjustments as necessary and acts upon findings.• Escalate problems to the appropriate personnel level, for severe conditions that are impossible to anticipate such as a power failure or optical fiber cable cut etc.• Coordinate with Customer care agents to resolve technical issues associate with subscriber connections which cannot be rectified from their end.• Prepare daily outage reports and circulate them with relevant stakeholders.
