      International development volunteer in Honduras. Working as part of the International Citizen's Service, funded by the Department for International Development. Worked with a team of 12 UK volunteers, 12 Honduran volunteers and 15 women in La Esperanza to create a microenterprise selling handmade bags. The project aimed to create an independent source of income for the women in our group, some of whom were victims of domestic violence. I had a key role in the team as the Monitoring and Evaluations Officer, making sure that the project adhered to timescales and KPIs, and by reporting back weekly to DFID and ICS. Also taught English and IT in a technical college, and participated in the UK Ambassador's 'Great British Weekend' event in Tegucigalpa. Show less

Led research and evaluation studies primarily in the area of gender and health equality.Direct line manager for a junior researcher and managed a team of 30 researchers on my projects. As an account manager for equality clients, I led funding bids up to £150,000 and contributed to bids over this level.
