  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in private practice for over 25 years. I work with individuals, families, couples and adolescent boys. I specialize in, physical and emotional abuse, bereavement and grief, chemical dependency and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I am the founder of The Quest Project® an evidenced based program for adolescents and adults. I have also created and facilitate the following weekend workshops: Women's Quest, Men's Quest, and for couples, Untangling the Web. My publications include: The Role of Deceased Mentors in the Ongoing Lives of Protégés, Omega Journal of Death and Dying (2000), The Effect of Initiation and Mentoring of Adolescent Boys (Master’s Thesis), Difference of a Counselor Facilitated Adolescent Boys Group on Behavior (Dissertation), and “Saving Our Sons: A Parent's Guide to Preparing Boy's for Success, and "Generation of Men" How to raise your son to be a healthy man among men. I am a USAF Captain (ret.) with twenty-two years of service and serve as a Military and Family Life Consultant (MFLC).   I am the Creator/Founder and Facilitator of The Quest Project® a 10-week Modern Day Rite-of-Passage Program for adolescent boys, adults, and recently The Quest Project Online® version. I am also a consultant and facilitator in clinical and school settings experiencing behavior and attention problems with adolescent boys.
