  I served the role of speech-language pathologist at Block Resource Centre (BRC) a Samagra-Shiksha Kerala Project under the Department of General Education of the Government of Kerala, India. Block Resource Centre (BRC) is a project initiated by the Indian government to support rural schools and children in rural areas (who are unable to afford and assess rehabilitation services), through resources, training, and innovative practices. I worked with preschool and school-aged children with special needs. My key responsibilities were to provide assessment and management for children referred to me, and advice, support, and provide counseling for parents, teachers, and support workers.
