Developed my leadership and technical skills whilst working on various projects across the UK and overseas as part of Costain graduate training programme to secure Chartered Engineer status.

  2021-2022 HS2, ASC Programme Director (Arcadis Joint Venture with Setec and Cowi)Acting as the equivalent of CEO for this Joint Venture, reporting into the board with single point accountability for leading the design team of 1600 people across 37 global office locations contracted to deliver detailed design for 80km of new high speed railway. 2019-2021 Lower Thames Crossing, Cascade Contract Director (Arcadis Joint Venture with Jacobs and Cowi)The largest UK road project in 30 years and third largest tunnel anywhere in the world. Initially brought in to lead the Technical Partner contract, responsible for all 600 JV staff and £70m p.a. in consultancy fees, single point of accountability reporting into the board. Subsequently asked to join the client’s executive leadership team to lead the transformation plan ready for the next phase of the project and the integration and onboarding of supply chain partners to form a Project 13 style alliance.
