      Over 5,000 communities nationwide bear the aftermath of the Peruvian Armed Conflict. Since 2006, the High-Level Commission for Peace and National Reconciliation (CMAN) has undertaken diverse initiatives to provide reparations to victims, both individually and collectively. As a consultant, I managed the implementation of four Ecological Sanctuaries in rural Peruvian Andean communities. Additionally, I provided guidance for constructing burial spaces dedicated to conflict victims and designed two memorial sites as part of the CMAN's Collective Reparations program. Show less

      The Strengthening Partnerships to Advance Disability Rights in Africa (SPADRA) project is led by the Pan-African Consortium, comprising the African Disability Forum (ADF), Disabled Women in Africa (DIWA), and Inclusion Africa (IA). The project aims to advance gender and disability rights in Africa, starting by Benin, Ghana, Malawi and Zambia.Currently finalizing its Inception Phase (August 2023 - December 2024), the project has successfully established and reinforced the consortium with resources and technical capacity. The continuation of the SPADRA project into its second phase is essential to build on the foundation established during the Inception Phase and to set preconditions for local OPDs to tackle the persistent challenges faced by women and girls with disabilities in the region.
