      • Worked in the analog I/O physical design team, analyzing, and optimizing analog I/O blocks using TSMC 5nm FinFET technology, utilizing Cadence Virtuoso for high-precision simulations and evaluations. • Developed and executed advanced test benches with Mica Simulator to rigorously assess and validate the I/O block performance under power ramp conditions, enhancing overall design robustness and signal integrity.

      • Developed an analog front-end readout circuit for detecting magnetic rare cells using a micro-Hall effect sensor, in 180nm TSMC technology with Cadence Virtuoso, as part of my master’s thesis under Dr. Firooz Aflatouni. • Designed VCO-based ADC circuit blocks such as 2-stage op-amp, VCO and a 12-bit digital counter and register. Performed comprehensive circuit simulations and finished the layout design. • Achieved key performance metrics, including 5 µV rms input-referred noise, 510 µW power consumption, 10 dB SNR, and an area of 0.8x0.6 mm2. The chip was taped out and evaluated with a micro-Hall sensor. Show less

      • Designed and tested PCB boards, including transceiver, modem, power distribution, gamma-ray detection, and resistivity acquisition circuits for SLB’s down-hole drilling tools. • Validated analog and RF circuits by implementing LabVIEW-based test benches and probing using network analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to ensure proper circuit functionality. • Conducted failure analysis on the power distribution board of a resistivity acquisition tool, identified issues with the comparator IC, redesigned the circuit and implemented the changes to mitigate failure in the oil field operations. • Solved yield issues with the transmitter board on the resistivity acquisition tool, through careful component selection to attain better tuning and redesigning the test procedure for the inductor measurements.
