      As an Information Technology Specialist I responsible for supporting the Public Records Act (PRA) needs of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), I negotiate and facilitate resources required for the completion of tasks associated with all PRA requests. I utilize the Public Records Portal (PRP) software to monitor PRA responses, adhering to established guidelines.In this role, I initiate and undertake data extraction and assessment functions, as well as specialized reporting projects in regard to enterprise PRAs in PRP. I define objectives, user requirements, activities, develop cost estimates, and lead the development of technical procedures. Additionally, I function as the backup PRP Administrator by provisioning user accounts, updating system enhancement changes, and proposing changes to management.In addition, I have been responsible for managing the project to establish governance of the Department's PRA process. This included creating the project documentation as well as process flows and operational procedures.
