      The Lange Max Museum is a must-see for the World War I tourist on the western front. This museum has a unique position among WW1 museums because of the its special focus on the German side of the war. In a brand new contemporary museum the visitor will learn all about the German occupation and the huge cannon that was designed to bombard Dunkirk. A unique exhibition shows the visitor the organisation behind the front line. The production of army equipment ran at full speed in Koekelare. In the LMM all the latest presentation techniques are used to provide the visitor with detailed information on this important aspect of WW1. Show less
