The structures to be built, under four complexes spanning an area of six acres in the case of this project, include a Magistrate’s Court (MC) Complex comprising,- 12 Magistrate Courts,- Legal Aid Commission Office- Registrar’s Office and the Registry- Ministry and the Judges Training Institute (JTI) Complex - Office of the Ministry- Arbitration Centre- High Court (HC) and District Court (DC) Complex made up of 8 HCs, four Commercial HCs, one HC of Civil Appeal, 10 DCs, six Labour Tribunals, two Quazi Courts, one Pre-Trial Court and one Small Claim Court, and a Quarters Complex with 40 Judges’ Official Quarters and 110 Officers’ Quarters. Works involved•Assisted in overseeing construction activities for 5 floors , supporting senior engineers in managing project timelines and budgets.•Conducted site inspections and monitored construction processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.•Involved in quantity take-offs and material procurement.•Maintained daily site logs, documenting progress and communicating updates with the project management team.•Gained hands-on experience with structural analysis, concrete placement, and reinforcement works, AIP system formwork, MEP works, finishing works and access road construction contributing to the successful delivery of projects within set deadlines.
