  Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival has grown into one of the biggest film festivals in Northern Europe and busiest regional industry platforms. As of 2014 the festival holds the FIAPF accreditation for holding an international competition programme which puts the festival into the so- called A-category of film festivals, alongside other 14 festivals in the world.I was the assistant to programme coordinator and my job was: - to collect film submissions and carry out the selection process with the programme team- to deal with screening licenses and promotional materials, which keeps me in a tight communication with PR and marketing teams- to communicate with distributor and sales companiesNext to our main festival in November, I was also coordinating the programmes of our two sub-festivals throughout the year: Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival (https://hoff.ee/en/) in spring and Tartu Love Film Festival (https://tartuff.ee/en/) in summer.   The internship in Tier Music was a practical and diverse learning experience, where my role included the following:- Catalogue' metadata organisation- Finding new sync partners- Pitching music- Organizing a sync camp. The highlight professionally was organising the first music sync camp for film and TV in Estonia with the Tier Music team. The camp started with a one day masterclass led by Thomas Golubić and continued with a two day sync songwriting camp. I contributed in the organisational side with briefing the writers, helping with venue search, marketing and communication as well as on-spot activities. Show less
