  Our Orientation experience was to show the freshmen around campus, as well as get themselves situated by leading them from building to building, letting them meet new friends, and helping them move into their dorms. It normally would be seasonally through the second weeks of September.

  Duties include, but are not limited to:- Soil and bed preparation- Weeding- Starting seeds indoors and transplanting them into the high tunnel- Maintaining and operating irrigation equipment and maintaining a consistent irrigation schedule- Harvesting crops on schedule, including weighing and delivering to the cafeteria- Assessing and responding appropriately to pest/disease issues- Keeping detailed, accurate records- Assist with volunteer hours, including training and modeling farm practices- Other tasks as they arise Show less
