Scheduled maintenance, modification and rectification of complex avionics systems; which includes servo actuated flying controls, primary and secondary radar systems, active and passive countermeasures, autopilot, laser gyro navigation and attitude reference systems, pitot/static instruments and digital radio communication systems.Achievements:Deployed to Kandahar airbase to resolve fault with an aircraft's fly by wire system which had plagued the aircraft for more than 3 months, using my extensive knowledge of the system and records of maintenance carried out on the system I was able to identifying the source of the fault as a short circuit to earth in part of the fault indication sub-system. The fault was repaired and recovered to operational flying within 3 days of arriving in Kandahar. Show less
