  Employed as sales engineer with the responsibility of finding and developing new customers. After 6 months I was given the responsibility for calculating and designing new tooling and making offers on these. In regards to this I had the responsibility of 2 technicians that was drawing and documenting parts and tooling.

  I was hired to develop and sell plastics internally and to develop plastics as a business area for Plus Pack. After a while I was made responsible for the company’s service department. The department developed, soled and rented out machines to close packaging at the customer’s site. Department was staffed with 3 persons were 2 worked in the tool shop and the last one primarily was out servicing and maintaining machines. Project manager on several development jobs both for individual customers and standard solutions. Some development projects were done through internal technical staff when the production was to be made in house and some projects done through sub suppliers. One of my results was the first internal development projects that were delivered on time in the 30 years history of the company. Many of the projects done at sub suppliers was in plastids as Plus Pack wanted to develop the company from only aluminum packaging to plastic packaging. Show less

  Developed new plastic parts and materials fore primarily the plastic cup division in DK, SV and FIN, and worked with the shared R&D department covering the hole group. This mend working with the extrusion of laminated plastic sheet, thermoforming of PS, PP and PET materials, development of combi-cups (plastic and cardboard) and some IM cups.

Among other tasks I started production lines in Asia, therefore traveling and working there was natural. By the end of my employment I worked as project manager / sales backup on different customer orders, involving both battery cell and safety circuits. Projects involved staying in close customer contact as well as contact with sub supplier and regional sales staff.   Worked with development of packaging and medical devices, as head of both development and technical department. Tasks varied from expansion of production capacity, improvement of capability, improvement of product quality and implementing new products. This was done as well as optimizing product documentation and handeling legal commitments. These tasks has been solved both as project manager, as coach for the other project mangers and through the work in steering committees and as head of the department. As Development Manager I have both developed and supported the staff, but also developed systems and methods in the department.
