Of the 36 gold awards presented this year, BREW (formally 2KO Creative) was proud to take home one in the Public Service – Direct Marketing, Specialty Items category for their Dream Day Foundation “Lunch Note” fundraiser campaign. With this campaign being the first and only item entered into the prestigious competition by BREW, the team was especially honored by the recognition. All gold awards automatically move forward to the AAF District level awards.Dream Day Foundation creates memorable events for the children and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The organization was looking for a new spin on their annual luncheon fundraiser event. The challenge was to develop a successful fundraising campaign without the use of a physical luncheon event. The BREW team developed a unique direct-mail piece consisting of a mail-able brown paper lunch bag printed with the fundraising details and containing a donation card and blank lunch note. The campaign encouraged participants to not only donate to the organization, but also help create a lasting memory by sending a child and their family a personalized “lunch note” of hope and encouragement. The campaign successfully raised over $3,000 and handwritten lunch notes will be displayed at the organization’s Fishin’ Galore event this year. Show less
