  My role as a reactive breakdown technician was to visit client sites and diagnose and repair the mechanical breakdowns of boilers, hot water systems, AHU'S and controls, including BMS & RMS systems. I was also required to assist the breakdown engineers with problem solving advice to resolve the breakdown quickly and effectively. I also met our clients on site to discuss these problems and agree a cost effective solutions to the client's satisfaction.

  I started at CHN as a Technical Supervisor responsible for supervising a team of 14 heating and plumbing engineers and the day to day running of the reactive Maintenance contracts, providing technical assistance and advice on commercial plant, commercial plumbing, AHU'S and air conditioning systems. I also provided recommendations and quotes for Planned Preventative maintenance, including replacement plant and associated equipment. In June 2002 I was offered the position of Commercial Contracts Manager, responsible for overall control of the commercial reactive and planned maintenance Division. My role included account management, monthly contract meetings with clients.   During this time I ran my own company providing reactive and planned maintenance to various commercial contracts that I had acquired. Clients included schools, hotels, public buildings and factories. Additionally I provided a design and installation service for new build and refurbishment contracts.
