      Activities and Societies: American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Society of Hispanic Engineers (SHPE) Prestressed Concrete Project: Design of a 40 ft. single span bridge with two travel 10 ft wide lanes. The deck was to be designed using Reinforced concrete, while the Interior and exterior girders where designed using prestressed concrete. The designed followed AASHTO'S LRFD Bridge design specifications as well as CALTRAN'S amendments to AASHTO.
