Mr. Menendez delivered biometric solutions for a variety of applications in different markets including healthcare, finance, and social services. In this position, Mr. Menendez directed business operations including strategic planning, product definition, design, and development; marketing and sales; public relations; and account management. He managed a staff of five direct reports, two consulting companies, and NEC resources in several countries throughout the world. Since taking on the role, Mr. Menendez initiated and implemented changes in multiple areas to reduce cycle times, eliminate costs, improve reporting accuracy, and increase client satisfaction. He was responsible for hiring and mentoring Lead Information Risk Managers to support commercial accounts in the Americas.       FCS Program Manager

      Mr. Menendez is the Program Manager for the FAA Cloud Services Contract (FCS). Mr. Menendez is the single point of contact for the FAA and is responsible for the financial and operational performance of the program. The FCS is an enterprise cloud computing contract to consolidate the FAA’s data centers and migrate applications to the cloud. The program is currently in the implementation phase, and over the past eleven months Mr. Menendez has lead the implementation of the colocation environment at the Equinix Data Centers in Ashburn, VA and Sunnyvale, CA and the installation of CSRA’s monitoring and control tools. The FCS implements a cloud brokerage model using AWS and Microsoft as the initial Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). As the PM, Mr. Menendez interfaces with all of the FCS partners including AWS, Microsoft, EMC, Racemi, and Brocade. The program is in the achieved the Authority to Operate (ATO) for the colocation environment and is in the process of achieving the ATO for the Government Community Cloud. As part of the FCS Program, CSRA developed and implemented the UAS Registry System using Agile development methods and to date, over a half million drone owners have been registered in the system. CSRA is also executing a delivery order to perform applications rationalization and migration planning for the first set of application to migrate to the cloud. Show less

Mr. Menendez is also the Project Manager for the Windows 10 Image Development Project to migrate USAID from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Mr. Menendez also supports business expansion activities through proposal development and support and Client Development Planning for new agencies.
