Show less As a Site Engineer of Engineering Services Consultant (ESC) Division on PT Orecon Sadanus Perkasa, a PT Putra Perkasa Abadi's consultant on Mine Road Improvement in PT Borneo Indo Bara's coal mining site at Angsana, Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan. The improvement goal is to decrease the FRD (Front, Road, and Disposal) Delay, especially the delay caused by Road Maintenance. My job is designing the on-code-standard mine roads, leveraging AutoCAD Civil 3D for geometric design, and employing CBR tests and the Unsurfaced Road Condition Index (URCI) tools for structural assessment and traffic optimization. Key achievements include:- The delay caused by road maintenance has been consistently reduced from 0.84 hours per day in May to 0.17 hours per day in October 2023;- The road surface condition has been improved by 8.18% based on the URCI value;- Road specifications 100% conform to the geometric standard;- The average speed of the haulers has been increased by 2.88%, resulting in the project's all-time high record within six months of the improvement project's initiation;- The cost savings of the speed increase effect are roughly estimated at IDR 152 billion.
