      Activities and Societies: Security manager in the universities night clubs. This study was focused on development of nations in need, and how to aid local immigrants transition. Part of the study included a two months study trip to Indonesia, where the group travelled to local communities and research the happiness, to compare the situation in relation to the GDP levels of the country. The results proved that the GPD index can be incredibly misleading, and that communities are able to create happiness in extremely low income situations.

We had hikes on foot and on skis in the mountains, canoeing on the lake, kayaking in the ocean, learnt how to hunt and handle small boats. However, this is one of the most valued experiences I have in managing a team through hard times. At the Palmesus festival in 2015, I acted as what is called "KO" representative for this company. That job entailed sitting in the control room with the other security representatives from the festivals, and being the communication link between the security team on the area and the other departements involved.

      Security work at different events, such as concerts, festivals, parties and restaurants. The job is to make sure the laws concerning alcohol is uphold, to stop any bad behaviour and to see too that everything is going well and by the rules at the events. The company is local to Kristiansand, and collaborates with the national company ProSec. In the summer season, I was often sent to Oslo and other cities to work for ProSec. In these situations, I often worked from 16-28 hour shifts and received good feedback due to a positive and proactive attitude during the whole shift. An example of the proactive attitude is during the Stavern Festival, where I worked the back gate to the backstage kitchen, 4 days of 18 hour shifts. It was a quite position, at my post I used my chef experience by peeling vegetables, without leaving the post or lowering the quality of security. Show less
