  From a young age, I was captivated by the world of design, and my passion was ignited at the tender age of 14 when I had the opportunity to tour the renowned design firm of David Robinson. Specializing in both hospitality and residential design, David Robinson's firm stood as a beacon of creativity and excellence that I aspired to be a part of. It was then that I decided to pursue a career in this dynamic field.Over the years, I collaborated with David, gaining valuable experience on the architectural side through projects with my father. However, it wasn't until 2012 that I officially joined David Robinson's team as a freelance designer. David's talent was already well-established in the industry, with numerous awards to his name for his innovative restaurant design in San Diego. His work had also garnered widespread recognition, being featured in several prestigious magazines.My most significant contribution to the team was during the development of a large-scale hotel resort in Palm Springs. Faced with a tight deadline, our collective efforts were focused on delivering exceptional results on time. After successfully meeting our goals, I continued to work with David's team on various high-end residential projects, which allowed me to further hone my skills and creativity.Working alongside David, an interior design virtuoso, was the realization of a childhood dream. Despite the challenges, including the considerable commute to Bird Rock La Jolla each day, the experience was both enriching and fulfilling. At McCulley Group, a multi-disciplinary design firm, we seamlessly blend corporate identity, branding, graphic design, and interior design to create cohesive and impactful spaces. With a strong focus on corporate, retail, and hospitality design, we pride ourselves on our ability to translate a brand's essence into the physical realm.In my capacity as a lead designer, my responsibilities were both diverse and crucial. I worked closely with graphic designers to integrate digital design elements into interior spaces, ensuring a harmonious balance that enhanced both aesthetics and functionality. Client consultations were a significant aspect of my role, where I gathered programming information to sketch out schematic designs that optimized work flows and networked spaces.My expertise extended to the meticulous design of systems furniture layouts and the careful selection of finishes.
