  As the Manufacturing Engineer I currently support the Engineering and Production teams with product integration and new manufacturing processes while applying my Lean Six Sigma training. I currently lead a team of three in the Manufacturing Engineering group which consists of a manufacturing technician in two of our production facilities. Our group is responsible for: - Providing direct engineering support for the production floor, managing red line drawings, maintaining extrusion bend calculations, adjusting Bill of Manufacturing in our ERP system. - Our group provides support with our automated production equipment such as; Elumatec, Waterjet, and the CNC Bender. - Currently performing data analysis in our drafting queue to manage and report on input accuracy from our sales department to better control our interdepartmental process. - Work closely with project management and production on new projects, determining lean manufacturing processes and identifying potential risks. Show less As the Technical Services Liaison my main function was to bridge the gap between the Engineering department and the production floor. Throughout my time in this role i took part in the following:- Utilize my product knowledge and available resources to correct and red-line production drawings directly to the production floor. - Create and manage a feedback and revision control procedure with the Engineering Production Drafting department. - Perform process improvement initiatives in the front end production process. - Provide technical support and design for jigs and fixtures.- Problem solve issues encountered during the production phase and communicate with both Sales and Engineering to determine a cost effective solution that will satisfy the customer requirements.
