  Shadowed a medical team during a week in the Acute Assessment Unit, which was an incredible experience having known little about this aspect of medicine. Having seen various patients of different ailments, this experience allowed me to gain an interest in Infectious Disease culminating in a project being carried out by myself over the following few years.

  Qualified as Dementia UK junior ambassador having taken part in introductory talk and visited patients afflicted by condition at Sunrise Residential Home. This has required a weekly donation of 2 hours to speak with and provide company to those who lack regular visitors and develop my own ability to communicate and form relationships with those in different positions.

  Founded the Youth Section of London Mensa in a monthly newsletter, holding the Editor role until entering University. Held round of interviews to find next editor, who is currently running section. Worked with group of similarly aged individuals to fast-track Mensa's Youth aspects such as deciding on use of charitable donations, creating editorial sections + welcoming other members who are currently at school/under 18.

  Observed a podiatrist at Northwick Park Hospital as part of a qualitative data study on the rising levels of Diabetes in Harrow, in order to grasp the point of view of patients who are going through the vascular complications of typically poorly treated Diabetes.

  Currently working on a ‘post-hoc’ analysis of the ATLANTIS study at the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI), focusing on asthma remission. Utilizing R Studio for advanced statistical analysis of lung function and clinical outcomes, aiming to identify key remission pathways. This work is part of a broader research effort to contribute to respiratory health, following my invitation to present at the British Thoracic Society and ongoing commitment to advancing the field.
