  During my two month internship at Oxy, situated in the heart of the Mukiznah desert I had the invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in the dynamic world of oil and gas exploration and production Oxy a renowned leader in the energy sector, provided me with a comprehensive and hands on experience that deepened my understanding of the industry's intricacies and challenges.Responsibilities: Health Safety and Environmental Compliance Safety being paramount in the oil and gas industry I underwent rigorous training on safety protocols and procedures. During my internship I actively participated in safety meetings conducted safety inspections, and ensured compliance with environmental regulations fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization Field Operations Observation I actively participated in field operations shadowing experienced professionals to gain insights into the various stages of oil and gas extraction. Team Collaboration: I collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, geologists, and field technicians, to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement innovative solutions. Solving Skills: The internship provided me with opportunities to tackle real-world challenges, honing my problem-solving abilities and fostering a proactive mindset towards overcoming obstacles in a fast-paced environment. Overall, my internship at Oxy was a transformative experience that not only enhanced my technical skills but also instilled in me a profound appreciation for the energy industry's critical role in driving economic growth and sustainable development.
