  Review application Standards / Codes, Drawings, Quality Control Procedures and Inspection Test Plan in accordance with International Codes and Standards. Review approved Welding Procedure Specifications, Welder Qualification /Certifications. Witnessing Welder Qualification activities. Ensure all welding and inspection equipment are in good condition and calibrated. Verifying materials and consumables identity according to approved Drawing/WPS as well as PMI verification for Alloy/Stainless steel elements whenever required. Step wise inspection of welding (Before Welding, During welding and After Welding). Checking the fit-up of joint for proper alignment, Bevel angle, Root gap as per drawing & checking conformance to requirement of the welding procedure specification. Carrying out Inspection of Welding process like SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW during Welding to ensure that the Quality of job is accordance with the procedure and Standards. Surveillance Inspection for the consumable control by welders at site and welding process control to ensure the welding parameters is in compliance with WPS. Weld visual Inspection of pipes and plates after completion of welding and preparing DWR (Daily Welding Reports) of the joints, offering and supervision of NDT activities like Radiography Test, Ultrasonic Test, Dye Penetrant Test and Magnetic Particle Test. Interpreting of NDT (RT, UT & PT) Results and reviewing & approving PWHT Reports and Hardness Testing Reports as required. Defect mapping and attending the repair joints and repeat inspection procedures until product meet quality standards and specification is attained. Ensuring of Heat Treatment whenever required according to the specified WPS and material requirements. Monitoring of Preheating and Post Weld Treatment activities is according with the WPS.
